SELF-PORTRAIT IN SNOW
Exhibitions

The Family Tree and the Portrait in Landscape were exhibited in the context of the international TRACTS network conference of Visual Anthropology hosted by the University of the Arts Helsinki in September 2025.

The research exhibiton entitled Facing Traces - Tracing Faces - Discovering an Imaginary Heritage was mounted in the Myllytori exhibition space in the heart of the Academy of the Fine Arts building at the Uniarts Helsinki Sörninen Campus 3.-21.9.2025. The exhibition included a participatory workshop where the audience was invited to make their own masks by pressing and sculpting their faces into tinfoil, to be displayed on the wall. The show and the workshop were designed in collaboration with the artist-curator Nina Liebenberg.

A smaller version of the Family Tree was shown as part of the the Artists' Island 2025, a group exhibition located in the Harakka Island's main building's heritage library 10.-28.9.2025.
